Greetings to all Daewon, Ewha, Hanyoung, Myungduk, Hafs, as well as a number of international students 

 

and parents. This is AMC teacher from AMC academy. Today, we would like to introduce WordSmart 

 

two months well desinged class, especially targeted for those of whom preparing for foreign language schools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our AMC study Expertise, lecturer, and research team have dedicated for Two months Word Smart

 

Completion class.

 

The funamentals of English is of course, vocabulary. The objective of this class is to deliever Word Smart

 

2000 words which can be seemingly tedious, in a most efficient and practical way to students preparing for

 

Foreign Language School.

 

We have processed various means and methods to memorize the tedious words not through merely practicing

 

the vocabs repetitively, but through special keys such as online academics or apps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SAT CR is a Reading Test, mainly targeted for American students. Accordingly, a number of students may struggle from unfamiliar vocabs, which frequently appears in American school text books.  Furthermore, strong vocab is one of the essentials for those of whom preparing the following exams; Sentence Completion on SSAT as well as Veral Section. Therefore we strongly recommend Word Smart Class especially for those students.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

AMCSTUDY`s WORD SMART daily class is based on 50 words. Throughout the daily test, we check the amount of words,

 

the students have memorized.  

 

Plus, through middle/ Final exmas, which will be held in the end of the month, the students will be tested their knowledge

 

based on 100words out of 1000. Then those of whom receives more than 80% will be able to pass the exam. 

 

Of course, the conference will be opened for parents regarding the process reports.

 

This particular class requires deligent efforts and strong participation, since missing one week leads to lack of 250 words.

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

After long contemplation and research, our AMC academy decided to support long term memorization through

 

media such as image, photo, and videos.

 

We will also apply PPT, etymology studies, and deliver the roots of the words in the most analytical

 

ways on behalf of merely memorizing the books.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amcstudy performs highly efficient lectures through Etymology for the students preparing for Foreign Language Schools.

 

Let`s take an example. The origin of the prefix "fac" derives from the Latin Facere and the word "Facere" defines "do" or

 

"make". Therefore, as a formula, we can easily understand the word "factory" as factory= fac(make)+tory(place).

 

Additionally, factor can be translated as "cause" or "element" through fac(make) + or.

 

Of course, there are other several words stem from the Latin facere such as fic-, feit-, fy-. fect-.

 

Through detailed analyzation of orgins of the words such as "fiction", "magnificient","ficient", we will further relate to

 

recalling stories. Then the students will be able to learn the vocabs both precisely and speedy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clearly, analyzing the origins of a single tiny word requires a demanding effort. Even though we need copious amount of

 

research and time consuming efforts, the reason we persist the study is the effectiveness and long term,

 

consistent memorization. We guarantee conspicuous improvement with enjoyable activities. Meet the word smart class
